Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the concept of "cultural heritage object", as well as the applied study of the historical and cultural heritage of the Orel region using the example of the history of the village of Muratovo, Bolkhovsky district (now Znamensky district), its owners and inhabitants, who made a definite contribution to the development of national science and culture. The nobles Khitrovo, Voeykov, Yelagin, Protasov, and V.A. Zhukovsky are associated with the village of Muratovo. The poet and tutor of the future reformer Emperor Alexander II lived in Muratovo for a long time, dedicated poems to the village, landscaped the estate, and was engaged in construction. The village is recognized as an object of historical and cultural heritage of the Orel region and a cultural monument of regional significance. V.N. Khitrovo in Muratovo in 1901 created a botanical station (closed in 1930), which carried out, in addition to botanical, meteorological, geological and local history work, the station became the base for the creation of the Society for Nature Research of the Orel region. provinces. Park-estate of V.N. Khitrovo in Muratovo, the V.N. Khitrovo Regional monographic museum in the Znamenskoye regional center, the toponyms of the streets of the village of Muratovo and the neighboring village of Kholkh are elements of preserving historical and cultural heritage in the territory of the modern Orel region.
